Youth stabbed to death in Gopalganj

Chapra/Gopalganj,10 June(HS) A youth was stabbed to death when he objected to obscene songs in the orchestra. The incident occurred last night at Gamhari village under Baikunthpur police station in Gopalganj district. Deceased has been identified as Manjit Kumar Singh, son of Ramesh Singh of the same village. A Barrat had come to the village and orchestra was organised. Obscene songs were being sung by the artistes and Manjit objected to it before the manager of the orchestra. Infurtiated over this, the manager along with his men beat him mercilesslesly and stabbed also. After the know of the incident, family members rushed him to community health center from where he was referred to Gopalganj. After initial treatmernt he was referred to Gorakhpur but mid way he succum,bed. Inspector Sadar BN Rai told that FIR against seven persons has been lodged and two have also been arrested. Accused persons are Shailesh Sah, Dipak Sah, Santosh Sah, Tinku Sah, Rahul Sah, Rohit Sah and Pawan Singh. SP Anand Kumar told that FIR has been lodged and raids are being conducted to nab other accused persons. Two have already been arrested. Hindusthan Samachar/Rakesh K. Singh
